Our nose should be beautiful from different angles, not just from the front, side, diagonal, or below. Among these, the profile, which we call the five-part structure consisting of the forehead, nose, lips, chin, and neck, determines the profile. Good harmony among them adds significant advantages to the person. Therefore, while performing rhinoplasty, interventions to the other four in the profile may also be necessary. There is such harmony between them that thin lips or a small chin make a normal nose appear large. A receding forehead and chin tip make the nose appear protruding. Interventions to other structures forming the profile alongside the nose are called profiloplasty. The procedures performed include fat cell, filler, chin tip prosthesis, chin liposuction, and sometimes shifting procedures to the jawbones where the teeth are located. Criticisms like \u201cThe nose is beautiful but doesn't suit the face\u201d are often heard for an incompatible profile.<\/span><\/p>

In rhinoplasty, it is correct to preserve the characteristic features of the nose while correcting features that are incompatible with the face.
