Eyebrow lifting

BROW LIFT (with camera)

This type of surgery, referred to as minimal invasive aesthetic surgery or soft surgery, has started to be used in the entire body, especially in facial aesthetics, with the development of its specialized technology.

A procedure suitable for the modern age's requirements, such as quickly returning to work and social life or becoming active quickly. The area where minimal invasive aesthetic surgery is most commonly used is the facial region. This method can be used for many purposes, including brow lifting, breast augmentation, buttock augmentation, and tummy tuck, in addition to facial rejuvenation.

The procedure is a closed operation performed under the skin with pen-like devices that have a camera at the tip of 3 mm. The image at the tip of the telescope is transmitted to the screen.

Having a larger image allows even very small tissues to be preserved.

Preparation for the brow lift procedure

First, the degree and type of the patient's brow droop, the looseness in the temples, the structure of the forehead, and the forehead lines are analyzed. The procedure is performed in an operating room environment. It can be done with local anesthesia. The procedure is performed from three points between the hair without cutting the hair. The structures that pull the brow down are loosened. Then, the brow and forehead are fixed upwards through the hair. The average duration of the procedure is 1.5 hours. It does not require hospitalization.

This type of facial rejuvenation is known as three-dimensional and dynamic facial rejuvenation.

The logic of the procedure is to relax the structures that pull the face downward and the poor mimic muscles, along with restoring the displaced tissues of the face. (Seesaw principle - A. Karacalar) Since the structures that pull the face upward will relax, the face will be freed from its naturally downward expression.

The permanence of brow lifting

It has a permanent effect on some areas. The area between the eyebrows and partially the corners of the eyes are places where a permanent effect can be achieved. It allows the eyebrows to be lifted as desired. It reduces the load on the upper eyelid. With this procedure, cheekbone implants can be placed and under-eye bags can be eliminated. Over time, sagging and loosening neck muscles can be tightened. It is possible to recreate the neck-chin angle, and the contribution of this procedure to facial rejuvenation is very significant.

The result obtained is a natural rejuvenation and reversal. The forehead, temples, cheeks, around the mouth, and neck can be used for rejuvenation. The result obtained is an energetic and happy appearance instead of an unhappy and tired expression. It can especially be considered as aesthetic surgery for middle-aged individuals who have a tired and unhappy expression on their face but have not yet fully sagged.

The use of brow lifting together with facelift

It is also effective in solving the problems created by classic facelift and in bringing harmony to the face. As an interesting application, it can be used to relax the muscles that compress the nerves in chronic and treatment-resistant migraines. An important advantage is that it preserves the circulation of the facial skin, allowing for simultaneous peeling with lasers or chemical substances. With this additional procedure, impressive changes can be achieved throughout the face. In classic facelifts, deep peeling procedures cannot be performed due to the possibility of impaired circulation in certain areas of the face.

Most facial rejuvenation procedures can be performed under limited anesthesia with sedation.

Suitable ages for brow lifting

It is especially suitable for middle-aged individuals. It can also be used in older ages where skin sagging occurs. However, in cases of excessive deformation, it is not possible to stretch the excess skin; it needs to be removed. In the method, small and hidden scars from the entry points of the telescope remain among the hair. No scars are left on the visible and open areas of the face. Facial rejuvenation also provides a three-dimensional refreshment.
