Large breast size disrupts the body's center of balance. The natural spinal angles of the body trying to compensate for this are distorted. The distorted angles cause pain and postural disorders in the early stages, while in later stages, they lead to issues such as herniated discs, nerve compression, and accelerated bone loss.

Breast reduction after the procedure, the body's posture begins to correct itself spontaneously. This makes the neck appear longer and enhances the silhouette. However, physical therapy and sports support are necessary for the complete correction of postural disorders.

As with many aesthetic surgeries, breast reduction falls within the concept of aesthetics for health.

10 negative effects of large breasts on aesthetics and body health

1. Back and neck pain

2. Prevention of exercise and an active lifestyle

3. Difficulty in losing weight

4. Negative effects on quality of life

5. Regular headaches in some individuals

6. Itchy and red skin issues under the breast and eczema

7. Fungal infections in the moist areas of the breast causing itching and discoloration

8. Poor body posture, hunching, and consequently a more aged, tired, and shorter appearance

9. Chronic nerve compressions that especially cause numbness in the arm

10. Negative psychosocial effects. Low self-esteem, stress, low confidence, the mind being fixated on the body, and in more advanced cases, depressive complaints.

The solution to all these complex problems: Breast reduction surgery

As shown in the illustration, the bra straps causing pressure on the shoulders are evidence of heavy breasts. This is a sign of potential cascading health issues that may occur in the coming years. Breast reduction surgery falls within the concept of aesthetics for health.
