Laser Facial Rejuvenation

The variety of laser treatments is increasing. Facial rejuvenation, wrinkle treatment, spot treatment, tissue tightening, pore treatment, vascular lesions, acne scar treatment, scar treatment, elimination of skin lesions, capillary treatment, varicose vein treatment, fat melting, stretch marks, body shaping, cutting effect in surgical procedures, tattoo removal, wound healing, and removal of unwanted hair are some of the effects of laser.
Laser, which is a concentrated single-type light, is absorbed by the tissue. With its absorption, chemical, mechanical, and thermal effects begin. These effects determine the therapeutic feature of the laser.
Each laser light has a target it selects. These targets can be pigments that give color to the skin, red blood cells, or externally applied dyes. Success is achieved when laser energy is concentrated on the target.

According to their wavelengths, there are types of lasers such as carbon dioxide, erbium YAG, erbium glass, diode, Nd-YAG, KTP, Alexandrite, Pulse dye laser, and Q-switched. One of these lasers is chosen according to the problem.
There are also some types of lasers according to the way the laser is delivered to the tissue. These are produced to increase effectiveness and accelerate healing. With a technique known as fractional or mosaic laser, laser energy is delivered more controlled. With this technique, healing proceeds quickly and more smoothly.

Laser treatment should be done with personalized treatment programs. The most suitable treatment for the person and the problem is determined with various settings, including the amount of laser energy, energy width, diameter of the laser light, and wavelength of the laser. When determining the treatment program, the person's age, gender, skin color and type, and medications used are taken into account.
In laser treatment, no healing time is required for lasers targeting under the skin, while for surface lasers, 3-5 days of care may be needed until the skin renews itself. When rules are followed, laser treatments are quite safe.
Especially erbium, Nd-YAG, and CO2 lasers are used in facial rejuvenation.
