Leg Aesthetics and Artistic ProportionsIdeal leg Knowing the approximate proportions of the legs by the person gives them a better chance to evaluate themselves. When it comes to legs, apart from the distinction between the upper leg and lower leg, the upper leg is referred to as the thigh and the lower leg as leg there is a habit of calling it. For the ideal leg, it is desired that some muscle and bone protrusions are softly noticeable. Legs are not tube-shaped homogeneous structures. Despite their cylindrical shape, they have numerous muscle and bone indentations and protrusions. In fact, they have a very complex surface anatomy.

Some examples of leg proportions:

• The inner surface of the lower leg should be less curved compared to the outer leg

• The length of the leg should be about one-fourth of the person's height

Leg The measurement of the place where the circumference is the largest should be about three-fourths of the leg length

• The circumference measurement of the middle of the leg should be about half of the widest part
