In X leg deformity, when standing, the legs appear bent inward. This bending is usually around the knee. While the knees are turned inward, the feet stand apart.

There are three main causes of X leg. Congenital, rickets, and developmental disorders (such as cartilage and bone damage).

Although most applications for aesthetic reasons involve a problem experienced in childhood like rickets, fat distribution disorders in the leg make the legs even more unattractive. Especially the increase in inner knee fat and accompanying fat on the outer edges of the legs are some of these fat distribution disorders.

Correcting the bone curvatures that cause X leg is difficult and laborious for older ages. Therefore, correcting the fat distribution that causes the X leg appearance and creating the illusion of straight legs is an ideal approach. For this, especially superdry technique offers significant advantages. Classical liposuction is more difficult to apply in areas like the leg where there is a single-layer fat layer and even millimetric errors can be seen. Laser lipolysis Although it damages the fats, it loses its advantage because the damaged fats are useless, while the addition of damaged fats to classical liposuction with laser lipolysis increases the disadvantage.

In X leg aesthetics, procedures focusing on the inner knee and outer leg are at the forefront.
