Rhinoplasty (nonsurgical)
Non-Surgical Rhinoplasty and Light
The light source has the most impact on the nose on the face. Soft shadows are created with light coming from above at a 45-degree angle, making the nose appear beautiful. Intense light from a strong angle can create harsh shadows and distort the nose’s appearance. In non-surgical rhinoplasty, the lines are enhanced by considering the nose’s light reflections and shadows. The augmentation process can be performed with temporary fillers like hyaluronic acid gel or permanently with stem cell injections. Especially, permanent synthetic fillers should not be used in the nose.
Non-surgical Rhinoplasty
Minor issues in the nose such as dorsal hump, asymmetry, drooping nasal tip, imbalances, inconsistencies, and post-surgical imperfections can be corrected using botox and fillers. In non-surgical rhinoplasty, the nose can be shaped and flaws can be partially corrected using fillers and botox. Botox injections can correct bunny lines on the nasal bridge, narrow flared nostrils, and lift the nasal tip if the muscle pulling the nasal tip is active. Whether botox will be effective or not should be determined through pre-procedure nasal-mimic tests. Filling the nasal root and bridge with fillers can create a smoother structure; lifting the nasal tip by filling the nose-lip angle or achieving a more refined tip by filling the nasal tip is possible. Moreover, minor irregularities that could occur after surgery can also be camouflaged with fillers. These irregularities can be easily addressed, especially if they are on the nasal bridge. Hyaluronic acid gel is a particularly safe product among those used for nasal filling. The effect of this procedure lasts for about a year, and if the results are satisfactory, more permanent results can be achieved through stem cell cocktail injections. The procedures are performed easily after applying topical anesthetic creams. There is usually no problem except for mild swelling and redness that subside quickly. Since the effect of the filler can be seen immediately after the procedure, the person can guide the physician by monitoring their reflection in the mirror. Allergic reactions to fillers can occur in individuals with allergies, in which case medical treatment may be necessary. While the effect of fillers can be seen immediately, the effect of botox requires waiting for 3-4 days. The use of these two treatments is not suitable for those taking blood thinners, pregnant individuals, and those with certain nerve-muscle disorders.
For a better facial harmony, sometimes the treatment of neighboring structures of the nose may be required. One of these is the lips. Thin lips can make the nose appear larger (contrast illusion). Enhancing the lips will relatively reduce the size of the nose. Stem cell injection is a great alternative to fillers.
